5 main voice actresses sing "Love Shitai—!" for comedy anime debuting on July 4

The official website for the anime adaptation of Ruri Miyahara's four-panel Love Lab manga began streaming the first pre-broadcast promotional video on Sunday. The video previews "Love Shitai—!" (I Wanna Love—!), the opening theme song sung by the five main voice actresses as the Fuji-Jo Seitokai Shikkō-Bu (Fujisaki Girls' Middle School Student Council Executive Committee):

The cast is also singing the ending theme song, "Best Friends."

The comedy manga revolves around the girls at the elite Fujisaki Girls' Middle School, which has tsundere (initially aloof and abrasive, but later kind-hearted), meganekko (eyeglasses-wearing girl), and other kinds of students.

The cast are:

Manami Numakura (The IDOLM@STER) as Rico Kurahashi, the student council president's aide. A misift known on campus as the "Wild One," she is the unlikely recruit for the job after a chance encounter with Maki.

Chinatsu Akasaki (Kill Me Baby) as Natsuo Maki, the student council president and pretty and proper honor student nicknamed "Fuji-Hime-sama" (Princess Fujisaki)

Inori Minase (Occult Academy) as Suzune "Suzu" Tanahashi, the airheaded student council secretary

Ayane Sakura (Vividred Operation) as Yuiko "Eno" Enomoto, the student council vice-president known for her soft, luxurious hair

Yō Taichi (My Little Monster) as Sayori "Sayo" Mizushima, the student council treasurer who loves money

Masahiko Ohta (YuruYuri, Mitsudomoe) is directin at the studio Doga Kobo (YuruYuri, GJ Club). Takashi Aoshima (YuruYuri, Mitsudomoe) is in charge of the series scripts, and Chiaki Nakajima (YuruYuri,) is designing the characters.

Miyahara launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Home magazine in 2006, and it later ran in other Houbunsha magazines before ending its main run in 2010.

The anime will premiere on July 4.
