Kan-Colle Trademark for Arcade Systems Filed

A trademark was filed for Kan Colle on September 25 for video games and photo sticker machines in a commercial settings such as arcades. Kantai Collection is the moe-character card battle game recently tapped for anime, manga, and video game adaptations. Kadokawa Game Studio will release a PlayStation Vita game based on the "fleet-raising" property next year.
Kadokawa Games launched the original free-to-play browser game with the service provider DMM.com this past April. In the game, players compete with cards featuring female moe characters inspired by Japanese World War II warships such as aircraft carriers, battleships, and cruisers. Players build, organize, and repair their anthropomorphized fleet to progress through maps.
