Super Heroine Chronicle's 1st Promo Video Shows New Cast

2/6 crossover RPG features Higurashi, IS, Zero F, Di Gi Charat, Sonico, tongue-shaped thermometer

Namco Bandai Games began streaming the first full promotional video for Super Heroine Chronicle, its upcoming "heroine melee simulation RPG," on Thursday. The video features the theme song "Dea x Crisis" by Yōsei Teikoku.

In the game, heroines from several franchises join forces to save the world, including:

  • Twin Angel: Twinkle Paradise: Yukari Tamura as Haruka Minazuki (Red Angel), Mamiko Noto as Aoi Kannazuki (Blue Angel
  • Kyousogiga: Rie Kugimiya as Koto
  • Di Gi Charat: Asami Sanada as Dejiko (Di Gi Charat)
  • Senki Zesshō Symphogear: Aoi Yūki as Hibiki Tachibana
  • Super Sonico: Super Sonico (as herself)
  • When They Cry - Higurashi: Mai Nakahara as Rena Ryūgū
  • Aria the Scarlet Ammo: Rie Kugimiya as Aria H. Kanzaki
  • Infinite Stratos: Yōko Hikasa as Houki Shinonono
  • The Familiar of Zero F: Rie Kugimiya as Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière
  • Dream Hunter Rem: Naoko Matsui as Rem Ayanokouji
The video then introduces the new original heroines of the game:
Hisako Kanemoto as Meru Ransheru, a magical yo-yo user designed by Toru Minazuki (To Heart)

Rina Satou as Noel Kazamatsuri, a "magical magician" designed by Satoshi Urushihara (Growlanser)

The video also highlights the game's battle system, particularly the original "Ability Destruction System" by which players can decimate their oponents' attributes mid-battle.

Still more new heroines are introduced:

The game will ship for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan on February 6, 2014. The first copies will bundle a "Tongue Paper Kiss Thermometer" on a stand. The stand is illustrated with the faces of the two original female characters, so when you take your temperature with the thermometer, it looks like you are kissing them.
