Game developer Konami announced that its New Love Plus+ 3DS game will be released next Spring in three different 3DS XL (sold as LL in Japan) variant packs.

The New Love Plus+ Manaka Deluxe Complete Set includes the Manaka Deluxe 3DS LL variant, the A4-size 40-page "Manaka no Himitsu" (Manaka's Secrets) booklet of visual art and production designs drawn by Mino☆Tarōo, a 10-minute binaural-recorded audio CD "Mimimoto Love Plus 2 Manaka," four illustrations of the character, and a specially illustrated box.

The New Love Plus+ Rinko Deluxe Complete Set includes the Rinko Deluxe 3DS LL variant, the A4-size 40-page "Rinko no Himitsu" (Rinko's Secrets) booklet of visual art and production designs drawn by Mino☆Tarōo, a 10-minute binaural-recorded audio CD "Mimimoto Love Plus 2 Rinko," four illustrations of the character, and a specially illustrated box.

The New Love Plus+ Nene Deluxe Complete Set includes the Nene Deluxe 3DS LL variant, the A4-size 40-page "Nene no Himitsu" (Nene Secrets) booklet of visual art and production designs drawn by Mino☆Tarōo, a 10-minute binaural-recorded audio CD "Mimimoto Love Plus 2 Nene," four illustrations of the character, and a specially illustrated box.

Each deluxe pack will retail for 32,000 yen (about US$320). The standalone game will retail for 5,700 yen (US$57) or 5,200 yen (US$52) to download.

New Love Plus+ is an "evolved version" of New LovePlus virtual girlfriend game. Akari Uchida is serving as senior producer for the game, and Mino☆Tarō is again handling the character designs. The game will again star Saori Hayami as Manaka Takane, Sakura Tange as Rinko Kobayakawa, and Yūko Minaguchi as Nene Anegasaki.

The Loveplus franchise launched on the Nintendo DS in 2009, and sold at least 180,000 copies in half a year. The game has since spawned an enhanced LovePlus+ edition, New LovePlus for the Nintendo 3DS, a few mobile and arcade spinoffs, and at least five manga series.
