New releases from Manga Entertainment and MVM.

On Monday May 26, Manga Entertainment will release the feature film spinoff of Blue Exorcist in both Blu-ray and DVD editions. The film is described on the Fetch Publicity website as follows:

Everyone is in the midst of preparing for a festival which is celebrated once every 11 years in True Cross Academy Town. However behind the scenes in the shadows, a “Phantom Train” goes berserk while the barriers protecting the town from demon intrusions were under repair. Rin, Yukio, and Shiemi are sent to exorcise the Phantom Train, but as usual Rin complicates the situation. Among all of the chaos, Rin meets a demon in the form of a young boy. Meanwhile, Cheng-Long Liu, a Senior Exorcist First Class from the Taiwan Branch joins Shura in the repair operation and the story takes an unexpected turn as all their fates cross.

Manga will also release Blu-ray and DVD editions of High School DxD. The series is based on Ichiei Ishibumi's original light novel series about Issei Hyōdō, a dim-witted, lecherous second-year high school student who is killed by a girl on his first date ever. Issei (Yūki Kaji) is reincarnated as a devil, and from that day forward, he serves as an underling of Riasu (Yōko Hikasa), a high-level devil who is also the prettiest girl on Issei's campus. Tetsuya Yanagisawa directed at the anime studio TNK with script writer Takao Yoshioka and character designer Junji Gotō.

Also on Monday, MVM will release the second half of Fate/Zero on DVD. The Blu-ray edition will follow on June 16.
