Dragon Quest VIII Released in N. America for iOS

Square Enix released Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for iOS devices in North America and New Zealand on Thursday. The game retails for US$19.99 and is compatible with iPhone 5 and third generation iPad or higher.
Square Enix filed to register the trademark "Journey of the Cursed King" in the United States on April 1 for video games, including online and handheld games. The trademark replaces the previous filing which expired on February 28. The previous trademark did not include online and handheld games.
Square Enix released Dragon Quest VIII in North America for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. The game was released for Android and iOS devices in Japan last year. Dragon Quest X was also released Android devices last year.
