Funimation Offers Soul Eater Not! Anime on Home Video

North American anime distributor Funimation confirmed on Saturday that it plans to release the Soul Eater Not! anime on home video next summer. Funimation will offer an English dub track with the anime.
Soul Eater Not! centers on the newest class at Death Weapon Meister Academy. As Tsugumi Harudori (voiced by Haruka Chisuga) enters the gates to Shinigami Buki Shokunin Senmon Gakkō (also known as Shibusen), a school for training Meisters and Weapons (humans that can transform into various weapons), she encounters Meister Maka Albarn (Chiaki Omigawa) and her Weapon Soul Eater Evans (Kōki Uchiyama). By a turn of events, Weapon Tsugumi is assigned to not one Meister, but two. Her hectic days with the gentle Meme (Saori Hayami) and high-class lady Anya (Aoi Yūki) begin.
Funimation had streamed the anime as it aired in Japan this past spring. Atsushi Ohkubo is ending the Soul Eater Not! manga in the next volume, the fifth one. Yen Press is publishing the manga in North America.
