Aniplex USA Adds Onimonogatari, Valvrave the Liberator Season 2

Aniplex of America announced at its New York Comic-Con panel on Saturday that it will release the Monogatari Series Second Season's Onimonogatari arc and Valvrave the Liberator season two on home video in North America.
Onimonogatari premiered in Japan in October 2013 and the arc will ship on home video in North America on December 30. The arc follows Shinobu Oshino, a mysterious little girl who came to Japan 400 years ago. Shinobu was originally a vampire named Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade.
Tomoyuki Itamura directed Onimonogatari, while Akiyuki Shinbo acted as chief director and series script supervisor along with Fuyashi Tou. Akio Watanabe designed the characters based on VOFAN's original novel illustrations. Watanabe, Nobuhiro Sugiyama, and Taisuke Iwasaki also served as chief animation directors at SHAFT. Satoru Kousaki handled the music.
The second season of Valvrave the Liberator (Kakumeiki Valvrave) premiered on Japanese television on October 10, 2013 and Aniplex will ship in Blu-ray box set on January 20, 2015.
The story of Valvrave the Liberator began in the year Shinreki ("True Calendar") 71, when 70% of the human race lives in space due to the development of a space city called "Dyson Sphere." Between two major powers — the Dorssia Military Pact Federation and the Atlantic Ring United States (ARUS) — there is a small neutral nation called JIOR that has prospered economically. The protagonist Haruto Tokishima (voiced by Ryota Ohsaka), a high school student who lives in JIOR, encounters the mysterious "forbidden" humanoid weapon Valvrave when the Dorssian army invades.
The first season aired from April-June last year. Crunchyroll streamed both seasons as they aired, and Aniplex of America released the first season on home video in September.
