Ayane Sakura plays new character Haru Onodera

The official Twitter account for the Nisekoi manga and anime confirmed on Sunday that the second television anime season will premiere in April. It also announced that voice actress Ayane Sakura will play a new character, Haru Onodera. The staff and cast held a stage event at Jump Festa 2015 on Sunday.

Konami's Jump Festa 2015 booth is offering an interchangeable jacket set and a demo station for the PS Vita game Nisekoi Yomeiri!? game, as well as Nisekoi-themed Zakusha Drops candy ("made with love") to winners of a ring game.

The Aniplex booth is offering an event-exclusive "Blue Schedule" CD single by the heroine Chitoge Kirisaki (as voiced by Nao Tōyama) and a Nisekoi display area.

The Aniplex booth also offered "Gachagacha" vending machine prizes, but they sold out on the first day:

Naoshi Komi's original manga and the anime revolve around Raku Ichijō (Kōki Uchiyama), a normal high school student who happens to be the heir to a yakuza group. The attractive but violent transfer student Chitoge Kirisaki (Nao Tōyama), the heir to a rival yakuza group, transfers to his class, and the two must pretend to date to keep a war from breaking out between their families.

Komi launched the manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2011 and Viz Media is releasing the original manga digitally and in print. Aniplex of America began releasing the television anime series on Blu-ray Disc in November, and Crunchyroll streamed the television anime as it aired in Japan.

The 14th manga volume bundled an original video anime (OVA) on DVD, and the 16th and 17th volume will each bundle an OVA as well. Chief director Akiyuki Shinbo, director Naoyuki Tatsuwa, character designer Nobuhiro Sugiyama, the anime studio SHAFT, and the main cast are all returning for the OVAs after working on the television anime.
