Star Wars: Battle Pod Arcade Game Previewed in Video

Bandai Namco Games began streaming a preview video on Thursday to accompany the launch of the Star Wars: Battle Pod arcade game. The video previews the "Hoth" stage from The Empire Strikes Back and the game-original "Vader's Revenge" stage.
The first-person pilot game shares hardware similarities with the developer's earlier Mobile Suit Gundam P.O.D. arcade title. The "P.O.D." stands for "Panoramic Optical Display" —a hemisphere-shaped screen that surrounds a player's range of sight. The screens are popular in Japanese arcades but have only been released in America in selected locales. The game also offers controller and seat vibration and air blasts the feel of simulate flying.
Both games support multiplayer network play as well.
