The official website for the Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: The F in Fukkatsu, or The Resurrected F) anime film revealed on Saturday the bonuses that people who attend theater screenings will receive. One of the bonuses, the "Toriyama Akira Kakioroshi Kyakuhon Kanzen Shūroku JC Sai 'Kami' Kan Dragon Ball Maki 'F'" (JC Most "Godly" Edition Dragon Ball Volume "F" With Complete Script Written by Akira Toriyama) book, will include Dragon Ball manga creator Akira Toriyama's complete script for the film. The Volume "F" book will also include exposition text, design materials, and other materials.

Filmgoers will also receive one Goku or Vegeta card for the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade card game. The third theater bonus will be the "Menkyo Kaiden! 5 Dai Dragon Ball Game Chō Senshi Ninteishō!" (Secrets Revealed! 5 Big Dragon Ball Games Super Warrior Certificate!) that includes download codes to unlock special features in five different Dragon Ball games. The first 1.5 million people who see the film in theaters will receive the bonus items.

The official website revealed the film's cast on February 24.

Masaharu Satou as Kame-Sen'nin (Master Roshi), a legendary martial artist who was once famous as the Muten Rōshi, and also Goku's master. Now, he lives a quiet life at Kame House. Having stayed out of the battles for a while, he makes his long-awaited return and joins the fight.

Hiromi Tsuru as Bulma, Goku's first friend who he met in the mountains. She is the heir to the Capsule Corporation and a genius mechanic, even developing the Dragon Radar. Someone informs her of Frieza's return.

Yuko Minaguchi as Videl, the daughter of champion fighter Mister Satan. She and Gohan met each other in high school, and the two married after the fight with Majin Buu. She is now a mother of a child.

They still haven't learned their lesson, so they seek out the Dragon Balls once more, but end being used by Frieza's forces.

His battle on Namek with Super Saiyan Goku resulted in his defeat. Afterwards, he turned his body into a cyborg and arrives at Earth, but his fight with the Trunks cost him his life. Now, the survivors of his army find a way to bring him back from Hell, but to what extent his power has grown, none can say.

Kazuya Nakai as Tagoma, Sorbet's bodyguard. He searches for the Dragon Balls on Earth alongside Sorbet.

Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F will premiere in both 2D and 3D in theaters across Japan on April 18. The film will also be the first Japanese film to open in 3D IMAX Digital Theaters.

Toriyama said in an interview in November that the 'F' in the film's title stands for "Frieza," who will be revived in the film. Toriyama noted that he thought of the title while listening to "F" by rock band Maximum The Hormone, whom he came to know personally through a friend. The song itself features Frieza as a motif, and will be used as a "battle song" during one of the battle scenes in the film. The band originally released the song as its eighth single in July 2008.

Toriyama is personally credited with the original concept, screenplay, and character designs of the new movie. Dragon Ball Z animation director Tadayoshi Yamamuro is directing the new movie. Pop idol group Momoiro Clover Z is (Sailor Moon Crystal, Bodacious Space Pirates) performing the film's theme song, as well as voicing roles in the movie, playing "angels" of hell that reside where the protagonist Son Goku's enemy Frieza has been imprisoned.

Those who purchase advance tickets receive an exclusive earphone jack strap of either Goku or Frieza modeled by Toriyama. Regular advance tickets cost 1,400 yen (about US$12), middle and elementary school student tickets cost 800 yen (US$7), and pair tickets cost 2,100 yen (US$17). Special movie ticket cards are on sale now.
