Hanabee Adds Plastic Memories and Re-Kan to Streaming Slate

The news was announced on the weekend on Hanabee's facebook page on Sunday the 12th of April. Both Plastic Memories and Re-Kan are added to the already running streaming slate which includes Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works season 2 for Hanabee's spring simulcast season.

Plastic Memories
In the near future androids with the appearance of humans have spread all over the world. The most realistic androids are Giftia, produced by SA Corp they have human emotions and experiences. However the lifetime of a Giftia is 81,920 hours (roughly nine years and four months) after which the Giftia suffer personality and memory loss. As a result, SA Corp operate the Terminal service who go and recover androids close to the end of their service life and wipe their memories. In this world we follow Tsukaka Mizugaki who has just started in the Terminal Service as a Spotter paired with the veteran Marksman Giftia known as Isla who is harbouring a secret about her operations.
Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (GJ Club, Engaged to the Unidentified) is directing Plastic Memories at Dogakobo (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Laughing Under the Clouds). Chiaki Nakajima (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily, Love Lab) is adapting the original character designs by okiura (Infinite Stratos). Naotaka Hayashi (Robotics;Notes, Steins;Gate, Chaos;HEAd) is credited as the project's original creator and he pens the scripts for the "story of meetings and partings." Eri Sasaki is performing the anime's opening theme "Ring of Fortune," and Asami Imai is performing the ending theme "Asayake no Starmine" (Sunrise Starmine).
Plastic Memories premiered in Japan on the 4th of April 2015 and Aniplex USA licensed and is streaming the episodes on Crunchyroll in North America. Re-Kan!
Hibiki Amami has a gift, she can see ghosts and other supernatural phenomena in her surroundings! While Hibiki treats her friends and the dead equally, she is always worrying about what's around her rather than worrying about herself.
Re-Kan! is a 4-koma manga series by Hinako Seta that was started as a one-shot in Manga Time Jumbo in 2009 which was then serialised in 2010. Since then Houbunsha has published four volumes, the last in October 2013.
Masashi Kudo (Hayate the Combat Butler! Cuties) is directing the series at Studio Pierrot Plus. Takashi Aoshima (Yuruyuri - Happy Go Lily) is writing and Aoi Yamamoto (Fairy Tail) is designing the characters.
The group every♥ing!, which consists of Ibuki Kido and Erii Yamazaki (who voice main characters in the show), are providing the opening and ending themes. The opening theme is titled "Colorful Story," and the ending theme is titled "Kesaran Pasaran."
The anime premiered in Japan on April 2nd 2015. Sentai Filmworks has licensed the series in North America and the series is being streamed in the United States and Canada on Crunchyroll.
