Re-Authored Durarara!! Blu-ray and DVD Released Monday

On Monday May 18, Anime Limited will release its re-authored 'standard' edition of Durarara!!, on both Blu-ray (left) and DVD (right). It includes the 24 episodes of the original series, as well as the two OVA episodes.
According to to a blog post on the Anime Limited website, 'the Blu-ray version includes re-authored discs that correct issues present in our initial Limited Edition Blu-ray release... in particular the lack of a dedicated sign/song subtitle track for the English language audio along with problems on the timing and placement of subtitles across the release... The assets available to us (for both the re-authore Blu-ray and DVD) match those as seen in the Aniplex of America release of the series, but where needed have been tweaked via our own in-house QC process.'
The Durarara!! anime adapts Ryohgo Narita's Durarara!! "high-tension suspense action" light novels. The "warped adolescent fantasy romance" takes place in a rowdy version of Tokyo's Ikebukuro neighbourhood.
