Girlish Number Anime Casts Kazuya Nakai, Yuichiro Umehara

The official website for the television anime of Wataru Watari and QP:flapper's Girlish Number novel project announced two new cast members on Friday. Kazuya Nakai will play the producer "Kuzu-P," and Yuichiro Umehara will play the manager Gojō Karasuma.
The show stars:
Sayaka Senbongi (Chronicles of the Going Home Club's Claire Kokonoe) as Chitose Karasuma
Kaede Hondo (Magical Somera-chan's Kukuru Nonomoto) as Yae Kugayama
Yui Ishikawa (Attack on Titan's Mikasa Ackerman) as Koto Katakura
The anime will air on TBS and BS-TBS.
The story follows the lives of Chitose Karasuma, a college student who aspires to be an idol voice actress, and other young women in the industry.
The March issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Magazine launched the illustrated novel's serialization on January 30. Yūki Dōmoto launched a manga adaptation in Dengeki G's Comic's May issue on March 30.
