Crunchyroll Adds Kakeru Utsugi's How to keep a mummy Manga

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Series follows high school boy who receives mummy from his father

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it has added Kakeru Utsugi's How to keep a mummy manga. The manga is available to Crunchyroll members worldwide.

Crunchyroll describes the manga's story:

When high school student Sora Kashiwagi finds himself staring down a mysterious oversized package sent to him by his self-proclaimed "adventurer" father, the last thing he expects is for it to be opened from the inside... by a little mummy so small it can fit in the palm of his hand!

Utsugi launched the manga on the Comico app in 2014, and the first compiled book volume shipped in Japan on February 12 of this year. Futabasha will release the second compiled volume on July 12.

Crunchyroll began a collaboration with Comico in December to release the app's manga in English. Titles released in the collaboration so far include Atsuko Watanabe's Piacevole, Yayoiso's ReLIFE, Kurose's Momokuri, and Shō Futamata's Nanbaka manga.

Comico is a free manga-reading smartphone app created by NHN PlayArt, and it has over 12 million downloads.
