Southeast Asian television channel Animax Asia began streaming a video for the Blade Dance of the Elementalers (Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance) television anime on Wednesday, revealing that the channel will air the anime beginning on August 16 at 7:00 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 8:00 p.m. in Singapore and the Philippines. The anime will air two episodes every Monday and Tuesday in the same time slot.

Animax Asia describes the anime:

In a world where spirits exist and only pure maidens have the privilege of forming contracts with the spirits, maidens from noble families gather at Areishia Spirit Academy where they train to become an elementalist.

Being the only male elementalist in the world, Kazehaya Kamito was invited by the Academy's director – Greyworth Ciel Mais, to Areishia Spirit Academy. While travelling to the academy, Kamito loses his way in the spirit forest and stumbles upon a girl named Claire Rouge.

In a twist of an event, Kamito finds himself contracted to a spirit that Claire originally wanted. Disregarding the fact that he once saved her life, Claire accuses Kamito of stealing her spirit. Because of that, she insists for Kamito to atone for it by becoming her contracted spirit. What will Kamito's destiny lead to?

The series premiered in Japan in July 2014.

The series starred:

Makoto Furukawa (Golden Time) as Kazehaya Kamito

Ibuki Kido (Golden Time, OniAi) as Claire Rouge

The anime adapts Yū Shimizu's light novel series of the same name. Tetsuya Yanagisawa (High School DxD, Destiny of the Shrine Maiden) directed the series at studio TNK (School Days, High School DxD).
