Funimation Reveals Dub Casts For Overlord, Shimoneta, 1st Live-Action Rurouni Kenshin Film, 6th Hetalia Season

Funimation Entertainment announced the English dub casts at its panel at Otakon on Friday for the Overlord and SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist television anime series, Hetalia The World Twinkle (season 6) anime series, and the first live-action Rurouni Kenshin film.

The dub cast for the Overlord television anime series, under ADR director Kyle Phillips, ADR engineers Jeremy Woods and Domonique French, lead writer Josh Grelle, and mix engineer Andrew Tipps, includes:

Funimation will release the complete series on a DVD and Blu-ray Disc combo pack on November 8.

The dub cast for SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn't Exist is as follows:

Funimation will release the series on a DVD and Blu-ray Disc combo pack on November 29.

Funimation's new dub cast for Hetalia The World Twinkle includes:

  • David Matranga as Hutt River
  • Clifford Chapin as Kugelmugel
  • Justin Briner as Ladonia
  • Dallas Reid as Republic of Niko-Niko

Funimation will release the series on DVD on November 8.

The dub cast for Rurouni Kenshin, under ADR directors Zach Bolton and Joel McDonald and ADR engineers Cris George and Peter Hawkinson, is as follows:

  • Eric Vale as Sanosuke Sagara

Funimation will release the first film under the title Rurouni Kenshin Part I: Origins on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on November 1. The film screened in theaters in the United States on August 8-10.
