New Only Yesterday Edition Released Monday (Updated)

An earlier version of this story claimed that Naruto Shippūden Box-set 25 would be released on August 15. In fact, this has been delayed to September 19. Apologies for the error.
On Monday August 15, Studio Canal will release a double-play Blu-ray/DVD of Studio Ghibli's Only Yesterday, directed by Isao Takahata, on August 15. This edition is described as a 'remastered' 25th anniversary version. As well as the subtitled Japanese film, it will include the recently-created English dub featuring Daisy Ridley and Dev Patel.
There will also be a new two-disc DVD edition of the remastered film, including the sub and dub. (A previous DVD edition of Only Yesterday was released in 2006.)

It's 1982, and Taeko (Daisy Ridley) is 27 years old, unmarried, and has lived her whole life in Tokyo. She decides to visit her family in the countryside, and as the train travels through the night, memories flood back of her younger years: the first immature stirrings of romance, the onset of puberty, and the frustrations of math and boys. At the station she is met by young farmer Toshio (Dev Patel), and the encounters with him begin to reconnect her to forgotten longings. In lyrical switches between the present and the past, Taeko contemplates the arc of her life, and wonders if she has been true to the dreams of her childhood self.
MVM will release the first season of Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East on both Blu-ray and DVD. The anime adapts Miyuki Abe's original manga that reimagines the setting from the classic Hakkenden samurai novel as a female-oriented story with supernatural elements. Osamu Yamasaki was the anime's chief director, while Mitsue Yamazaki was its director at Studio DEEN. Both Yamasaki and Yamazaki were in charge of the series scripts, while Hiromi Kato designed the characters.
The series starred the voice cast members Tetsuya Kakihara as Shino Inuzuka, Satoshi Hino as Sōsuke Inukawa, Ayahi Takagaki as Hamaji, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Murasame. Other cast members included Daisuke Namikawa, Hiroshi Kamiya, Shinichirō Miki, Jun'ichi Miyake, Takuma Terashima, and Tomoaki Maeno.
