2nd Kizumonogatari Film Screens in 33 U.S. Theaters Starting on October 22

Aniplex of America announced on Friday that it will screen the Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood) film in 33 theaters in the United States starting on October 22. The company is listing the theaters and screening dates on the film trilogy's official U.S. website. Some theaters will begin screening the film later than October 22.
Azoland Pictures is distributing the film, and the screening will include a bonus giveaway item for viewers while supplies last. All screenings will feature the original Japanese audio and English subtitles.
Aniplex of America will first host the North American premiere of the film at its AkibaFest event in Los Angeles on October 15 and 16.
Aniplex of America previously screened the first film, Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu, in the United States in February-March, and in Canada last month.
The Kizumonogatari film project is a trilogy, and the first film opened in Japan on January 8. The second film premiered in Japan on August 19, and the third film will open in Japan on January 6.
Akiyuki Simbo is once again credited as chief director at the anime studio SHAFT. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are designing the characters. Yota Tsuruoka is directing the sound, and Satoru Kousaki is composing the music. Tatsuya Oishi is the director.
