Early Anime Screenings in London

Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors screening at Barbican on December 4
The London International Animation Festival will hold a screening of Momotaro's Divine Sea Warriors (left), a World War II propaganda film which was the first Japanese animated feature ever made. The screening will be at the Barbican (Cinema 2) on Sunday December 4 at 7 p.m. This screening will also include a 1943 short film, Spider and Tulip.
There will also be a screening of recent Japanese short films, entitled 'Beyond Anime.' It is also on December 4, at 9 p.m.
