posted on by Alex Mateo
Opening theme album cover also unveiled

The official website for Marginal#4 Kiss Kara Tsukuru Big Bang, the television anime adaptation of Rejet and Idea Factory's Marginal#4 franchise, revealed on Saturday that the show will premiere on January 12 at 11:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX. It will also run on the Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, AT-X, and BS11 channels.

The website revealed a new key visual.

The website also posted the album cover for the opening theme song "WeMe!!!!" sung by the in-anime idol unit Marginal#4. The single for the opening song will ship on January 18.

The anime follows the Marginal#4 idol unit, who made their debut at Rejet's fictional Pythagoras Production label on February 13. The members give their all for their fans in their idol activities, but they are also normal high school students. The anime will follow both their everyday lives as high school students and their lives as idols. Other idol groups under the Pythagoras Production label include "Unicorn Jr.," and "Lagrange Point."

Marginal#4 consists of four members:

KENN as L Nomura

Toshiki Masuda as Atom Kirihara

Naozumi Takahashi as Rui Aiba

Yuuto Suzuki as R Nomura

Other returning cast members from the franchise include:

Kentarō Suzuki (episode director on The IDOLM@STER franchise, Little Busters!) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff. Masahiro Yokotani (Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) is in charge of the series scripts, and Yōko Itō (Love Stage!!, Amanchu!) is designing the characters for animation based on Sō Kirishima's original character designs. MIKOTO is producing the theme song music, and Daisuke Iwasaki penned the lyrics. Asuka Sakai (Yuyushiki) is composing the soundtrack. Each episode of the anime will have a different musical act composed of cast members contributing its ending theme song.

The franchise already includes over a dozen singles, several albums, and drama CDs. Additionally, Rejet and Idea Factory's Otomate brand released the MARGINAL#4 Idol of Supernova PlayStation Vita otome game for female players in November 2014.
