Cyber Dimension Neptune: 4 Goddesses Online Promo Previews Playable Goddesses

The official website of Cyber Dimension Neptune: 4 Goddesses Online, the latest game in the company's Hyperdimension Neptunia series, began streaming a promotional video on Thursday. The video previews the four playable goddess characters in the game's "4 Goddesses Online" game-within-a-game. All four are voiced by the same voice actresses as the main heroines, and also correspond to their goddess forms in the main series.
The game will ship in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on February 9. Compile Heart will release a "Royal Edition" that will include a book of visuals, situation CD, and soundtrack CD. Those who preorder the game will receive an illustrated card with a DLC code for cat suit costumes for all eight main characters.
Cyber Dimension Neptune: 4 Goddesses Online's story features the series' four goddesses being chosen as beta testers for an online game, complete with avatars based on them. The online game is set in a world named Arsgard. There, the goddesses meet a guardian spirit that guides adventurers. In the game's story, the players play as the "Chosen Ones" of the goddesses who must end the menace of an evil demon lord. Compile Heart opened a website for the fictional "4 Goddesses Online" game-within-a-game.
The group Erabareshi will perform the game's opening theme song "Pikon de Metafiction." Fuki will perform the ending theme song "Log Out Shinaide!" (Don't Log Out!).
