Destiny of the Shrine Maiden Creator's Red Blood Red Legacy Manga Ends

6th compiled book volume slated for May 9 in Japan, MangaBox publishes manga in English digitally

DeNA's MangaBox site published the 103rd and final chapter of Kaishaku's Red Blood Red Legacy (Akaaka Toshita Chi no Monogatari) manga on Friday. MangaBox has also published the final chapter in English. Kodansha will publish the manga's sixth and final compiled book volume on May 9.

Manga Box describes the story:

Itsuki and Hayato, two brothers who grew up in a village nestled deep in the mountains, set out to hunt down a wolf that has been attacking the livestock of the village. Itsuki is about to go in for the kill when a gigantic beast appears out of nowhere, snatching up the wolf in its jaws and sucking the life out of it. The beast that stared Itsuki down was a gargantuan, blood-sucking vampire deer… will the two brothers be able to return to the village alive?! Find out in this blood-filled action-packed story by extraordinary mangaka Kaishaku!

Kaishaku launched the manga in DeNA's Manga Box smartphone app in Japanese, English, and Chinese in April 2014. Kodansha published the manga's fifth compiled book volume last August.

Kaishaku consists of artists Hitoshi Ota and Terumasa Shichinohe. The duo's other manga include Steel Angel Kurumi, Magical Meow Meow Taruto, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, Key Princess Story: Eternal Alice Rondo, Kannazuki no Miko: Destiny of Shrine Maiden, and Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora (Shattered Angels), all of which inspired anime adaptations.
