Game receives 390,000 pre-registered users in 1 week

The official Twitter account for the The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days smartphone game revealed on Saturday that the game has received 390,000 pre-registered users.

Bandai Namco Entertainment began accepting pre-registrations for the game on April 30. The game received 100,000 pre-registrations on the first day, 200,000 by the second day, and 300,000 by the third day. Players who pre-register will receive various awards based on how many players pre-register, with a goal of getting 1 million people to pre-register.

Bandai Namco Entertainment posted two music videos as the pre-registrations hit 100,000 and 200,000, respectively. The first video features the song "Suteki na Kiseki" (Lovely Miracle), and the second video features the song "Precious Grain."

The stage for the new game is a 765 Pro live theater, and it takes place in rooms such as the theater's office, waiting room, and greenroom. The game features the theater clerk character Misaki Aoba. In the game, players can communicate more with certain idols by touching them on screen. The game's solo and unit concerts feature rhythm games.

The game will launch in Japan this year.

Namco Bandai Games released the original The IDOLM@STER Million Live! smartphone game in February 2013 as a spinoff of The IDOLM@STER game series. The game features the 765 Pro characters of the original series, as well as 37 new characters. The game allows players to manage their own idol production company, and raise their idols' skills.

The original game also has a new manga adaptation titled The IDOLM@STER Million Live! Blooming Clover. The manga debuted in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine on February 27, and Kakuya Inayama is drawing the manga.
