The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls, Love Live! Sunshine!! Singles Rank in Top 5

"THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT MASTER 11 Ankira!? Kyōsōkyoku" single sold an estimated 49,000 copies to debut at #2 on Oricon's weekly singles chart for the May 29-June 4 week. In addition, "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS LITTLE STARS! Étude wa Ikkyoku Dake" single sold an estimated 25,000 copies to rank #5 in its second week, after topping the ranking in its debut week.
"THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT MASTER 11 Ankira!? Kyōsōkyoku" is the 11th single from the franchise's "STARLIGHT MASTER" series of singles featuring songs from The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls: Starlight Stage smartphone game. The single shipped on May 31. Aside from the title track, the single also contains the songs "Neo Beautiful Pain" and "Aikurushii," and instrumental versions of all three songs. Hiromi Igarashi, Rei Matsuzaki, Eriko Matsui, Yui Makino, Rika Tachibana, Akane Fujita, Yuka Ōtsubo, and Yuko Iida feature in the single's songs as their respective characters.
"GALAXY HidE and SeeK," the second single by AZALEA – a sub-unit of Love Live! Sunshine!! franchise's nine-girl idol group Aqours – sold an estimated 27,000 copies in its first week, and ranked #4 in the weekly singles chart.
The single is now the highest-ranking single from sub-units within Aqours, surpassing the #5 ranking of sub-unit Guilty Kiss' "Strawberry Trapper" single, which ranked #5 in June 2016.
AZALEA is composed of the characters Matsuura Kanan, Kurosawa Dia, and Kunikida Hanamaru (as voiced by Nanaka Suwa, Arisa Komiya, and Kanako Takatsuki, respectively).
The Love Live! Sunshine!! anime premiered in Japan last July. Funimation streamed the series with English subtitles as it aired in Japan, and also produced an English broadcast dub for the series. It will get a second season this fall.

Update: Oricon reports that "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS STARLIGHT MASTER 11 Ankira!? Kyōsōkyoku" and "GALAXY HidE and SeeK" sold 48,964 copies and 27,024 copies, respectively. "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS LITTLE STARS! Étude wa Ikkyoku Dake" sold 25,297 copies for a new total of 62,734.
