Anime adaptation of Harikamo's 4-panel manga premiered in Japan in January

Animax Asia announced last week that it will air the television anime adaptation of Harikamo's Urara Meirocho four-panel manga starting on June 23. The show will air two episodes on weekdays at 6:30 p.m. GMT +8.

Animax Asia describes the anime:

Meirocho is a town where fortune tellers with different fortune-telling abilities, known as Uraras, are aplenty. One day, Chiya, a girl who was raised in the woods, arrives at Meirocho and meets with Kon, Koume and Nono who are Urara trainees. Together with the three girls, Chiya's days as an apprentice diviner begin as she yearns to become the highest ranked Urara to locate her mother's whereabouts.

The 12-episode anime premiered in Japan on January 5.

Youhei Suzuki (SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist, The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) directed the anime at J.C. Staff. Deko Akao (Snow White with the Red Hair, Etotama, Noragami) handled the series composition, and Mai Otsuka (Shakugan no Shana, Non Non Biyori) designed the characters for animation. Members of the anime's cast performed the opening theme song "Yumeji Labyrinth" (Dreaming Labyrinth). The anime's ending theme song is "go to Romance>>>>>" by Luce Twinkle Wink☆.
