Production I.G's 'Vertical Anime' App Debuts Enoshimanz Jellyfish Anime

Anime centers on 3 jellyfish who are frequent visitors of Enoshima Aquarium

Production I.G's "Tate Anime" (Vertical Anime) smartphone app began streaming a new anime titled Enoshimanz on Monday. The anime will have five episodes, and is streaming a new episode every week.

The anime promotes the new Enoshima Aquarium, and is set in Enoshima in the Shōnan region. The anime centers on three jellyfish named Mizukurage (moon jellyfish), Akakurage (northern sea nettle), and Pacific sea nettle. All three are frequent visitors of the Enoshima Aquarium to the point of all three having annual passes.

The "Tate Anime" app launched on June 5. The app offers short (about three-minute) anime that updates every weekday, and each series will have 10 episodes. The new anime in the app are presented vertically for smartphones. The app is aimed at people who do not have time to watch television or do not own a television.
