Crunchyroll announced at its industry panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta on Saturday that it will stream the Sengoku Night Blood and Love is Like a Cocktail (Osake wa Fūfu ni Natte kara) anime series. Crunchyroll will stream Sengoku Night Blood worldwide outside of Asia starting on October 3 at 11:00 a.m. EDT, and will stream Love is Like a Cocktail worldwide outside of Asia starting on October 3 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Crunchyroll also began streaming a trailer for Love is Like a Cocktail on Saturday.

Crunchyroll describes Love is Like a Cocktail:

Quiet but capable, Mizusawa Chisato is a beautiful leader who has a secret that only her husband, Sora, knows about: she loves to drink, and when she's drunk, she becomes extremely adorable! What bliss will Sora's cocktail bring tonight? "Yoidere," the drunken comedy cocktail about Japan's most lovey-dovey couple.

The series will premiere in Japan on October 3 at 25:00 (effectively 1:00 a.m. Wednesday morning) on Tokyo MX and GYAO!, and later the same night on Sun TV.

The anime's cast includes: Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Sora Mizusawa, Eri Kitamura as Chisato Mizusawa, Ayaka Asai as Yui Shiraishi, and Arisa Nakata as Koharu Sakurai.

Saori Tachibana (episode director for Little Witch Academia) is directing the anime at Creators in Pack. Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow) is serving as chief director. Yuzuko Hanai (episode animation director for Little Witch Academia, Kiznaiver) is designing the characters. WORDS in STEREO (Kiitaro's yokai picture diary, Netsuzou Trap -NTR-) is writing the scripts and is in charge of series composition. Miki Sorakubo (paint for Taboo Tattoo, Fafner EXODUS) is in charge of color design, and Kouji Hayashi (Ojisan to Marshmallow, Kiitaro's yokai picture diary) is director of photography. Taichi Hatanaka (Ojisan to Marshmallow) is serving as animation producer. Cellchrome is performing the show's theme song "Don't Let Me Down."

Crunchyroll describes Sengoku Night Blood:

One day, Yuzuki is enveloped by a mysterious light suddenly emanating from her cell phone and finds herself in an unfamiliar place.
The scenery spread out before her almost resembles Sengoku period Japan-- But this is another world known as "Shinga" where non-human creatures such as vampires and werewolves reside.

Long ago, the various tribes of Shinga lived together peacefully under the protection of the Himemiko who possessed special blood.
However, one day the Himemiko suddenly vanished.
With the protection of the Himemiko gone, the world has fallen into a period of strife as the warlords of the Gegga Tribes started fighting one another vying for control. And, as if summoned by all the unrest, strange monsters called "Yakuma" run rampant throughout the land attacking the inhabitants.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi, who leads the Toyotomi Army, takes in Yuzuki after rescuing her on the battlefield and accidentally discover that her blood awakens the latent powers of the Gegga Tribes.
Upon learning of the power of Yuzuki's blood, the other warlords-- Oda, Uesugi, Takeda, Sanada and Date-- begin pursuing Yuzuki, each for their own purposes.

"Find the girl from another world," were the parting words from the vanished Himemiko left to Imari, a white tanuki bearing a teakettle. Yakuma continue to appear in increasing numbers and touched by Yuzuki's powers the warlords struggle with what to protect and what to fight. A new story comes together in the midst of war set in another world...

The anime will premiere on October 3 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX.

The anime adapts Marvelous, Kadokawa, and Otomate's Sengoku Night Blood smartphone game.

Katsuya Kikuchi (The Royal Tutor) is directing the anime at Typhoon Graphics (One Room, Room Mate) with series composition by Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri., Orange). Sei Komatsubara, Reina Okuyama, and Chisato Nakata are adapting the character designs for animation. The show's cast is returning from the game.

Update: Both series will stream worldwide outside of Asia.
