The family of manga creator Jun Tsukaji announced on Sunday on his blog and Twitter account that Tsukaji passed away on September 25 after a battle with cancer. He was 27.

Tsukaji published two chapters of the Kyō no Kyūshoku! (Today's School Lunch) manga in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine starting in April, but the serialization was then stopped. He offered artwork (pictured at right) featuring the same title at Comiket 91 in December 2016.
