Voice Actor Toru Ohkawa Goes on Hiatus to Treat Illness

Takako Hasegawa, president of the talent agency Mausu Promotion, announced on Saturday that voice actor Tōru Ohkawa is going on hiatus due to treatment for an unspecified illness. The agency will post again when it can announce the timeframe of Ohkawa's return to work.
Ohkawa's many credits include Roy Mustang in the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime, Death Scythe in Soul Eater, Tokugawa Ieyasu in the Sengoku Basara - Samurai Kings game and anime franchise, the narrator in the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anime works, Saazbaum in Aldnoah.Zero, and the titular detective role in the Meitantei Pikachū: Shin Konbi Tanjō game. More recently, he is playing Gordes Musik Yggdmillennia in Fate/Apocrypha, Watanabe-sensei in the Just Because! anime, and Ichinosuke Okajima in the upcoming winter anime Killing Bites.
