Animax Asia to Air A Sister's All You Need, Just Because! Anime

Animax Asia revealed during the C3 AFA Singapore event last month that it will air the A Sister's All You Need and Just Because! television anime. The company did not reveal an air date for the anime.

A Sister's All You Need premiered in Japan on October 8 and is currently ongoing. The show follows the everyday life of Itsuki, a novelist and "modern day Pygmalion" who works day in and day out to create the ultimate younger sister. He is surrounded by various other characters: a beautiful genius writer who loves him, his big-sisterly classmate from college, a fellow male writer, a sadistic tax accountant, and his editor. They're all looked after by Itsuki's perfect younger "step-brother," Chihiro, who has a big secret.

Shin Oonuma (Anne-Happy, WATAMOTE) is the supervising director and Jin Tamamura (Chivalry of a Failed Knight) is the series director at SILVER LINK. Original creator Hirasaka is handling the series composition and scripts. Sumie Kinoshita (Girlish Number) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Masanori Tsuchiya (Restaurant to Another World) is the sound director and Tomoki Kikuya (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) is composing the music. ChouCho is performing the opening theme song "Ashita no Kimi Sae Ireba Ii." Aira Yūki is performing the ending theme song "Donna Hoshizora yori mo, Donna Omoide yori mo" (From Whatever Starry Sky, From Whatever Memory).

Yomi Hirasaka writes the original Imōto Sae Ireba Ii. novel series, and Kantoku (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) provides the illustrations. The eighth volume shipped on September 20. Since 2015, Shogakukan's Gagaga Bunko imprint has published 850,000 copies of the light novel series' seven volumes.

The Just Because! original anime premiered on October 5, and is currently ongoing.

It is winter of their third year of high school, near the end of the second semester, when students have very little time in high school left. Everyone was just waiting for graduation.

Until he suddenly came home.

He was their classmate in middle school who had moved far away. He transferred in at a peculiar time, which reunited them. It was as if a go signal rang out to the feelings of the students who had just thought to end their high school life without fanfare.

Atsushi Kobayashi (Girls & Panzer storyboards, episode director) is directing the anime at PINE JAM, with Hajime Kamoshida (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou) as the scriptwriter and Kiseki Himura (Sword Art Online: Progressive manga, Tawawa on Monday) as the original character designer. Hiroyuki Yoshii (Tawawa on Monday) is adapting the character designs for animation. Singer-songwriter Nagi Yanagi (A Lull in the Sea, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Bakemonogatari) is credited as music producer and is also performing the opening theme song. Keisuke Fukunaga (Tawawa on Monday) is credited as producer. The main female cast members, consisting of Karin Isobe, Yuna Yoshino, and Lynn, perform the ending theme song as their respective characters.

A serialized novel adaptation of the anime launched in Kadokawa's book and manga news magazine Da Vinci on September 6.
