Macross The First Manga Moves to Cycomi App

Cygames' Cycomi manga app announced on Sunday that Haruhiko Mikimoto's The Super Dimension Fortress Macross The First manga has moved to the app. The manga relaunched from the first chapter with "major revisions and updates," and the app will continue serializing another chapter every week.
The manga retells the story of the original 1982 The Super Dimension Fortress Macross anime. Mikimoto, the original character designer of the anime, draws the manga.
The manga launched in Kadokawa's Macross Ace magazine in January 2009. The manga then moved to Kadokawa's Newype Ace magazine in September 2011, and then moved to Kadokawa's ComicWalker, Kadokawa Niconico Ace, and Comic Newtype manga websites in 2014. Kadokawa published the manga's sixth compiled book volume in May 2015.
