Paradise of Innocence Parallel Spinoff Manga Ends in 2 Chapters

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Spinoff manga launched in November after main manga ended, adapts user-submitted situations

The April issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal Arashi magazine revealed on Friday that Uran's Paradise of Innocence: Parallel spinoff manga will end in two chapters. If there are no delays, the manga will end in May.

The manga launched last November in Young Animal Arashi as a short series. For the spinoff, the magazine asked readers to submit favorite characters and situations they would like to see them in (such as "Konomi x Halloween Costume Party" or "Rio x Cherry Blossom Viewing"). Uran reviewed submissions and adapted favorites into the spinoff.

Uran launched the original Paradise of Innocence manga in Young Animal Arashi in 2011, and ended it last September.

In the popular "nostalgic & innocent story," Shōta is sent back in time to his elementary school days via a mysterious school pool. He see Konomi-chan, a girl who would eventually become a nationally popular actress, and other cute girls when they were innocent.

The manga inspired three original anime DVDs bundled with the sixth, eighth, and 10th limited-edition compiled volumes. According to retailer Mangaoh's listing, the manga's third anime DVD was the "final" one.

The manga was removed from Amazon Japan in May 2015.
