Switch game launches in North America, Europe on May 18

Nintendo began streaming a new character introduction video for Koei Tecmo Games' Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Nintendo Switch game. The video shows Agitha, Zant, Midna, and Twili Midna from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Toon Zelda from The Legend of Zelda Spirit Tracks.

The video above is the fourth in a series. The first video showed Link, Zelda, and Impa along with original Hyrule Warriors characters Linkle, Lana, Volga, Wizzro, and Cia.

The second video highlighted Marin from Link's Awakening; Sheik, Darunia, and Ruto from Ocarina of Time; and Young Link, Skull Kid, and Tingle from Majora's Mask.

The third video highlighted The Wind Waker with Toon Link, Tetra, Medli, and King Daphnes.

Nintendo will release the game in North America and Europe on May 18. The game launched in Japan on March 22.

The game adds new costumes for Link and Zelda based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The port features all maps and all 29 characters from both the Hyrule Warriors Wii U game and Hyrule Warriors Legends 3DS game, including previously exclusive DLC.

Koei Tecmo Games released Hyrule Warriors for the Wii U in Japan in August 2014 and in the West in September 2014. The company released Hyrule Warriors Legends in Japan in January 2016, and in North America and Europe in March 2016.
