'Nijigen no Mori' Theme Park Launches Naruto/Boruto Attraction in April

The "Nijigen no Mori" (2D Forest) theme park in the Prefectural Awajishima Park in Hyōgo Prefecture announced on Monday that it plans to launch a new attraction based on the Naruto and Boruto franchises next April.
The attraction, named "NARUTO & BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO," will recreate landmarks in the franchise's universe, such as Hokage Rock and Hidden Leaf Village, and will also have 10 life-size statues of various characters. The attraction will have shops selling merchandise, and a restaurant themed after the in-universe Ramen Ichiraku shop.
The attraction will have two main sections, a Naruto-themed athletic section, and a Boruto-themed maze section. The athletic "Chi no Maki" (Earth Scroll) will have attendees perform various activities to find the "Pieces of the Seal." The "Ten no Maki" (Heaven Scroll) maze will have attendees go through the Ninja Academy course to find a way out using their minds and bodies.
The Jump Festa 2019 event will host a booth for the new attraction, and it will have a model mockup of the attraction. The event will take place at the Makuhari Messe venue in Chiba Prefecture on December 22 and 23.
The Nijigen no Mori theme park already contains attractions for various anime franchises, including Shin-chan and Phoenix.
Kishimoto launched the original Naruto manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999, and ended the series in November 2014. The manga has 140 million copies printed in Japan, and 95 million copies printed outside of Japan.
The series has spawned multiple anime, anime film, OVA, and game adaptations. The Naruto Shippūden anime series ended in March 2017. The manga is inspiring a live-action Hollywood film at Lionsgate.
Ukyō Kodachi and Mikie Ikemoto launched the Boruto sequel manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016. The manga inspired a television anime series titled Boruto: Naruto Next Generations that premiered in April 2017, and is ongoing.
