Symphogear TV Anime Season 5 Delayed From April to July 2019

The official website for Senki Zesshō Symphogear AXZ, the fourth Symphogear television anime season, announced on Monday that the upcoming fifth season has been delayed from next April to next July. The staff apologized to the fans who have been anticipating the new Senki Zesshō Symphogear XV season's broadcast, and vowed to deliver a better work with the steady support of the fans.
The Senki Zesshō Symphogear franchise premiered with a 13-episode television series in January 2012. The second television anime, Senki Zesshō Symphogear G, followed from July to September 2013, and the third television anime, Senki Zesshō Symphogear GX, aired from July to September of 2015.
The fourth season ran from July to September 2017. Katsumi Ono, director of the second and third Symphogear anime, returned to direct the fourth series again at Satelight. Elements Garden handled the music once more, and Akifumi Kaneko and Noriyasu Agematsu are credited as the original creators.
The first day of the Symphogear Live 2018 concerts in March had announced the previously planned April 2019 premiere for the fifth season.
