Creatures Family Days/Frankenstein Family Manga Ends

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga inspired anime series last year

The April issue of Shinchosha's Comic Bunch magazine published the final chapter of Yanai's Jikken-hin Kazoku: Creatures Family Days manga on Thursday. The manga's second compiled book volume will ship on March 9.

The manga inspired a Japanese-Taiwanese collaboration anime series that premiered last April. Crunchyroll began streaming the anime last September under the title Frankenstein Family, and it describes the story:

Tanisu's parents are mad scientists who live outside of normal society. They locked up their own children up on an isolated island and did experiments on them in secret, turning Tanisu's older brother and three older sisters into strange creatures. One day, their parents were arrested, and the siblings were moved to another island by the welfare office.

The trouble is that none of the siblings except Tanisu know how to interact in modern day society...

The manga launched in the Comic Bunch magazine in the December issue in October 2017, and it marks Taiwanese creator Yanai's Japanese debut. Shinchosha published the manga's first compiled book volume last April.
