Crunchyroll Adds Kimagure Orange Road, Photon, Psybuster Anime

Crunchyroll has announced that it has added the following anime to its catalog:

Psybuster, The Adventures of the Little Prince, and Kimagure Orange Road are available in the United States and Canada. Photon: The Idiot Adventures is available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

Photon: The Idiot Adventures and Psybuster are available with both an English dub and English subtitles.

The 48-episode Kimagure Orange Road television anime ran from 1987 to 1988. An eight-episode OVA debuted between 1989 and 1991, and a finale film debuted in 1988. Discotek released the anime on Blu-ray Disc on March 26. AnimEigo previously released all three anime. A second movie, Kimagure Orange Road: Summer's Beginning, debuted in 1996, and ADV Films released it in North America.

The Photon: The Idiot Adventures OVA debuted in 1997. Discotek released the anime on DVD in December 2017. Central Park Media previously released the anime with an English dub in 2000.

Psybuster is based on original characters from the Super Robot Wars game series. The 26-episode series premiered in 1999. Discotek released the anime on DVD in July 2017. Geneon Entertainment previously released the series on DVD in North America with the title spelled Cybuster.

The 35-episode The Adventures of the Little Prince series aired on television in Japan between 1978 and 1979, and four additional episodes were added for the Japanese home video release, but only 26 episodes were dubbed in English to run on Nickelodeon. The anime is based on Antoine De Saint-Exupéry's children's story. Koch Vision previously released the series on DVD in 2005. Discotek Media released the English-dubbed version of the anime on DVD in October 2017.
