Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Tuesday that it will stream the television anime of Getter Robo Arc, the last manga in the iconic Getter Robo super robot manga series by Ken Ishikawa. The company also announced it will stream MAPPA's original water polo television anime RE-MAIN. Both anime will premiere on Ani-One on July 4.

The anime will stream in India as well as Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Northern Mariana Island, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The Getter Robo Arc anime will premiere on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS SkyPer!, and BS11 on July 4.

Sentai Filmworks will distribute the anime on home video and describes its story:

The world is on the brink of apocalypse following an onslaught of invaders. To fight the attacking hoard, one of the original Getter Robo pilots, Hayato Jin, has finished Getter Arc, a new fighting unit based on the final work and ultimate masterpiece of Professor Saotome. Now the son of Ryoma – one of Hayato's copilots on the first-generation Getter – Takuma, the half-human half-Saurian Kamui, and Baku, younger brother of the extraordinary ESPer Tahir, step aboard the Getter Arc to combat the ruthless incursion and restore hope to their ravaged world!

Jun Kawagoe (Getter Robo: Armageddon, Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo, New Getter Robo) is directing the anime at Bee Media. Dynamic Planning is credited for planning the anime, and Ken Ishikawa and Go Nagai are credited for the original work. Tadashi Hayakawa (Galaxy Angel Rune, Cyborg 009 vs. Devilman, Mazinkaizer SKL) is in charge of composition and is also writing the scripts. Kazuya Hoshi is designing the character concepts, and Hideyuki Motohashi (Fushigi Yugi, God Mars, Hikaru no Go) is designing those characters for animation. Yoshichika Kuriyama (Cyborg 009 vs. Devilman) and Shiho Terada (Cyborg 009 vs. Devilman, Tropical-Rouge! Precure) are composing the music. Jam Project will perform the opening theme song "Bloodlines: Unmei no Kettō" (Fated Lineage).

Ishikawa ran the manga in Futabasha's Super Robot Magazine beginning in 2002, and it remains unfinished after Ishikawa's death in 2006. Futabasha published three compiled book volumes for the manga.

RE-MAIN will premiere in TV Asahi's "Numanimation" timeslot on July 3 at 25:30 (effectively 1:30 a.m. on July 4).

The anime's story centers on Minato, a boy who stopped playing water polo due to a certain incident in the winter of his third middle school year. He picks the sport back up again with a new team when he starts in high school, but the fledgling team runs into many problems.

Tiger & Bunny head writer Masafumi Nishida is serving as co-creator, chief director, series script supervisor and scriptwriter for every episode, and is also credited as audio director. Kiyoshi Matsuda (Kumamiko - Girl meets Bear, Kakegurui season 2) is directing the anime at MAPPA under Nishida's supervision. Aori Fujika (Name romanization unconfirmed) is designing the original character concepts, and Shiho Tanaka (Banana Fish episode animation director, Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather animation director) is adapting those designs for animation. Kana Utatane (TaWaRa) is composing the music.

South Korean boy band group Enhypen perfoms the anime's opening theme song "Forget Me Not." Shugo Nakamura performs the ending theme song "Kowareta Sekai no Byōshin wa" (The Second Hand of a Broken World).
