Ani-One Asia Streams Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, My Master Has no Tail, Blue Lock Anime

All 3 anime air as part of fall anime season

Ani-One Asia announced on Sunday and Monday that it will stream the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury, My Master Has No Tail, and Blue Lock anime.

In addition, Ani-One Asia is already streaming the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury Prologue prequel episode. Ani-One Asia's stream of the main anime will premiere on October 2 at 5:00 p.m. GMT +8.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is the first new Gundam television anime series in seven years. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 2 on MBS and TBS, and it will air on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. The prologue episode for the anime aired on September 25 at 5:00 p.m.

Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kimi no Iru Machi, Kiznaiver, Spriggan) is directing the anime at Bandai Namco Filmworks/Sunrise, with Ryo Ando (Interviews with Monster Girls, Double Decker! Doug & Kirill) as co-director. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass, Princess Principal, Sk8 the Infinity) is credited for series composition and as scriptwriter. Mogumo is credited for the original character designs, and Marie Tagashira, Juro Toida, and Hirotoshi Takaya are drawing those character designs for animation. Takashi Ohmama (Castle Town Dandelion, Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS) is composing the music. Ayumi Sato is the art director, while Tomoaki Okada, Kenichi Morioka, Kazushige Kanehira, Junichiro Tamamori, and Yasuyoshi Uetsu are the art designers. Kazuko Kikuchi is in charge of color setting. Shinichi Miyakaze is the 3D CG director. Shota Kodera is the director of photography, while Kengo Shigemura is the editor. Jin Aketagawa is the sound director.

The anime's mechanical designers include JNTHED, Kanetake Ebikawa, Wataru Inada, Ippei Gyobu, Kenji Teraoka, and Takayuki Yanase. Shinya Kusumegi, Kanta Suzuki, and Seizei Maeda are the mechanical animators. Ryoji Sekinishi is credited as mechanical coordinator, while Yohei Miyahara is the techincal director. Yuya Takashima is credited as sci-fi researcher, while Hisadake is credited for setting cooperation. E o Kaku Peter and Esuthio are the prop designers. Lin Junbun drew concept art. Kaori Seki is credited for monitor graphics design.


Ani-One Asia's stream of the television anime of TNSK's My Master Has No Tail (Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai) manga will debut on September 30 at 11:00 p.m. GMT +8.

The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on September 30, on MBS on October 1, on BS Asahi on October 2, and on AT-X on October 4.

Ani-One describes the anime:

Mameda, a tanuki girl who dreams of becoming human, transforms her appearance into a pretty human girl and heads to the bustling city Osaka. However, a beautiful woman Bunko instantly sees through Mameda's guise. Bunko is a rakugo master and she shows how to cast magic on humans only with words, not illusions. After that, Mameda begs Bunko to become her teacher. The Taisho Era rakugo fantasy now begins!

Hideyo Yamamoto (Strike the Blood, The Prince of Tennis II, Cells at Work! Code Black) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Touko Machida (Lucky Star, The IDOLM@STER) is supervising the series scripts and writing them with Kei Shimobayashi, Aya Satsuki, and Yūho Togashi. Ryō Yamauchi (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato sub-sharacter designs) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director. GARNiDELiA performs the anime's opening theme song "Genai Yūgi" (Fleeting Love Game). Hinano performs the ending theme song "Virginia."


Ani-One Asia's stream of the television anime of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura's Blue Lock soccer manga will debut on October 9.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 8 on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the "NUMAnimation" programming block. The anime will run for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year) with 24 episodes.

Tetsuaki Watanabe (Powerful Pro Yakyū Powerful Kōkō-hen) is directing the anime at 8-Bit with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director. Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!, Silver Spoon, 2019 Fruits Basket) is supervising and writing the series scripts, and the manga's Kaneshiro is supervising the story. Yutaka Uemura (Saga of Tanya the Evil director) is the concept adviser. Masaru Shindō (Fruits Basket, Macross Delta, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) is the main character designer and chief animation director, and Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya are also character designers and chief animation directors. Jun Murayama is composing the music. Shugo Nakamura will perform the anime's ending theme song "Winner."

Kodansha USA Publishing is publishing the manga in English digitally and in print, and it describes the story:

After a disastrous defeat at the 2018 World Cup, Japan's team struggles to regroup. But what's missing? An absolute Ace Striker, who can guide them to the win. The Japan Football Union is hell-bent on creating a striker who hungers for goals and thirsts for victory, and who can be the decisive instrument in turning around a losing match...and to do so, they've gathered 300 of Japan's best and brightest youth players.
