Sozo Holds AFA Creators Super Fest Event in Singapore in July

Singaporean events organizer Sozo Pte. Ltd. announced on Tuesday that it will hold the AFA Creators Super Fest event in Singapore at Singapore Expo Hall 5 on July 22-23, with artist and illustrator LAM attending as a guest. Cosplayers KNITE, Miho, XiaoYukiko, and YingTze, as well as photographer Prestonles will also attend as guests.

LAM is a freelance illustrator who has designed characters for the takt op. Destiny and the accompanying takt op. Symphony game, the Tokyo Chronos game, and the Technoroid Overmind project, including the anime. He is also an illustrator and designer for the Plantopia project.

The AFA Creators Super Fest takes after the Creator's Hub section of Sozo's anime convention Anime Festival Asia (AFA). Local and regional creators will be able to set up booths and sell independently-produced merchandise, and the event will also feature a cosplaying area. Creators will be able to attend guest panels aimed at spreading techniques for illustrators, cosplayers, photographers, and other creative disciplines. The event will also have a gaming and music performance section.

The Anime Festival Asia conventions take place in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan. The event is one of the largest anime and Japanese pop-culture conventions outside Japan. 2015's Anime Festival Asia in Singapore drew 90,669 visitors. Aside from Anime Festival Asia and its attached I Love Anisong label, Sozo also owns JLive Asia, and organizes the Japan Music Festival brand.
