Netflix began streaming the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime in India on Thursday. Ani-One is also streaming the anime season for Ultra subscribers in India as it airs in Japan.

The second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime premiered on July 6. The season will air for two cours (quarters of a year) for a continuous half-year run. The anime will adapt both the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" ("Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu") arc and the "Shibuya Incident" arc of Gege Akutami's original manga.

Shōta Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen episode 8, 17 director) is replacing Sunghoo Park as the anime's director. The new cast members include Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro. Tatsuya Kitani performs the opening theme song "Ao no sumika" (Blue House), and Soushi Sakiyama performs the ending theme song "Akari" (Lantern).

The Jujutsu Kaisen television anime premiered in October 2020, and it had 24 episodes. Netflix is streaming the season in India. Ani-One began streaming all episodes of the season in India on June 29.

The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film opened in Japan in December 2021 and opened in India in June 2022. It crossed ₹5.4 crore (approximately US$681,629) in earnings in its first weekend. Amazon Prime Video added the anime film in India in December and Crunchyroll added it in India in February.

Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally and in print, and Shueisha is also publishing the manga digitally on its MANGA Plus service.
