Evangelion: 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon A Time will be released in UK cinemas from Friday October 6, with screenings at Odeon, Picturehouse, Showcase and Vue cinemas. Screenings and ticket links are listed at https://evangelion.alltheanime.com/.

According to website, "As a special cinema exclusive, attendees to all screenings will receive an exclusive Ayanami Rei / Shikinami Asuka Langley reversible mini-poster. Subject to availability."

Anime Limited Tweeted that while the film will have IMAX screenings at London's BFI IMAX and at the Light Cinema Cambridge, most of the UK IMAX screenings have been cancelled due to changes in the cinema calendar

Released in 2021, this is the fourth and final Rebirth of Evangelion film. The film is described on the site as follows:

"From legendary director Hideaki Anno, EVANGELION:3.0+1.01 THRICE UPON A TIME is the fourth and final installment of the REBUILD OF EVANGELION films, bringing an epic conclusion to the story of Shinji and his fellow Eva pilots, with the stunning visuals and thought-provoking storytelling that has made EVANGELION a global pop culture phenomenon.

"Misato and her anti-NERV group Wille arrive at Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appear, Mari's improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei (Provisional Name) wander about Japan."

The site also has a link to upcoming Anime Limited home editions of Evangelion: 3.0+1.11: Thrice Upon A Time, which are listed for October 30. These home editions include a UHD deluxe Blu-ray edition (pictured left), which will include the film on both a 4K UHD disc and on a standard Blu-ray disc. It will also include an extra disc with bonus content, as well as a 28-page art booklet and five character art cards.

There will also be a Blu-ray and DVD Steelbook edition of the film on October 30 (which will also include a disc of bonus features), as well as standard Blu-ray and DVD editions.
