Female Gunner Will Join the Ranks of Dungeon Fighter Online Character Classes, Introduced in Game Through Comic Book

Girls with Guns – A winning combination

Female Gunner will join the ranks of Dungeon Fighter Online character classes, introduced in game through comic book

If looks could kill, these ladies are the deadliest of weapons. As the newest character class in Dungeon Fighter Online, the new Female Gunner character class is locked and loaded to join the other female classes - Fighter and Mage - when Nexon America officially launches the game service on Wednesday, June 9.

This sixth character class will be introduced to players through its own in-game comic book introduction story. Players who create a Female Gunner will be rewarded with a gift box full of great loot.
Gunners, both male and female, come from the land of Empyrean, a realm powered by high technology. Empyrean law mandates each female child take a test before her fifth birthday. Those who demonstrate exceptional talent are then able to enter into extensive training, preparing them to join an elite division of the Imperial Guards called the Imperial Princess Garden. Women of this privileged minority end up not only defending Empyrean from its enemies, but also playing leadership roles in their societies, lending their expertise to all sorts of technology, from instruments of war to vital communication systems.

The Female Gunner shares the same subclasses as the male Gunner – Launcher, Mechanic, Ranger and Spitfire – but there are some differences.
· Launcher – Female Launchers don't pack heat as heavy as their male counterparts, but are far more agile.
· Mechanic – Female Mechanics have developed a technology unique from – and more practical than – that of their male counterparts.
· Ranger – While most male Rangers hail from the lawless district of Empyrean, most female Rangers are fully-trained members of the Imperial Army. Some Rangers are even tasked with protecting the royal family, including the young princess.
· Spitfire – Empyrean females have traditionally played an active role in fields requiring combat strategies, which explains why so many female names appear on lists of the most prominent Spitfires.

Dungeon Fighter Online beta testing will run right into the game's official launch, allowing current players to retain their characters intact, and new players to get started before the June 9th opening.

Dungeon Fighter Online has over 200 million registered players worldwide since its release by Nexon development studio Neople in 2005. Nexon America will present Dungeon Fighter Online as one of three games, including Vindictus and Dragon Nest, at its first E3 Expo booth at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 15-17.

Dungeon Fighters are currently uniting at Facebook, and players can see more of the action on YouTube.
