NeoAniCon Set to Launch in March 2015

NeoAniCon officially set to launch in March 2015, staff needed,
Kickstarter started for crowdfunding operational costs.

Baltimore, MD - Monday, June 30, 2014 -- Finally, after years of planning, Mr. Kun Sun Sweeley, the President for NeoAniCon, L.L.C was successfully able to formally incorporate NeoAniCon L.L.C in the state of Maryland which he hopes he can convert it to a 501( c ) (3) non-profit organization and successfully obtained a host venue for the inaugural NeoAniCon 2015 convention.

NeoAniCon 2015's official host venue is the DoubleTree by Hilton Baltimore - BWI Airport hotel located at 890 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland 21090, the dates are Friday, March 13, Saturday March 14, and Sunday March 15, 2015.

Thanks to the assistance from Experient, the NeoAniCon room block rate is $95/night and
the room block is immediately open for reservations at the following link: http://doubletree.hilton.com/en/dt/groups/personalized/B/BWIBADT-NAC-20150313/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG or by calling the DoubleTree BWI Airport Hotel's reservation line at 1-888-370-0976 and mention group code “NAC” however all attendees wanting to reserve a hotel room within the official NeoAniCon room block will need at the time of reservation to leave a deposit with the DoubleTree equivalent of one night's stay ($95) plus applicable taxes that will be charged onto the attendee's credit/debit card on February 20, 2015. $95 is actually a good rate because the regular rate for the rooms at the DoubleTree for the dates for NeoAniCon is $124/night so by reserving your room for NeoAniCon now by visiting the special link you guarantee that your room rate will be $95/night. The cut-off date for the NeoAniCon room block is February 20, 2015 at which point, you will need to reserve a hotel room that is outside the NeoAniCon room block. Free high speed Internet is available in all guestrooms at the DoubleTree.

NeoAniCon attendees will also be served a breakfast buffet at the DoubleTree each morning at a rate of $10 per person plus tax and gratuity. There is also a free shuttle operated by the DoubleTree that services BWI Airport and the nearby light rail stations.

About NeoAniCon, the Convention

This Convention will attempt to educate parents/grandparents on why their children/grandchildren like anime, manga, comics, video games, East Asian culture and related topics so much, why their children/grand children like going to events such as comic conventions and anime conventions. It's also going to be an event that will attempt to educate parents/grandparents that there might be anime they would be interested in watching and will try to dispel the notion that parents/grandparents have that anime is just “Saturday A.M. cartoons.” This convention will not just be for parents/grandparents but it will also target the new convention goer and the current convention goer.

About NeoAniCon, the Idea

The founder of NeoAniCon, Mr. Kun Sun Sweeley first got the idea of attempting to educate parents/grandparents in 2003 when he was attending a major U.S. anime convention and he overheard parents/grandparents questioning their sons/grandsons and/or daughters/granddaughters why they like going to events such as anime and comic conventions and why they like anime, comics and video games so much.

Mr. Sweeley does not see NeoAniCon as a competing convention with existing conventions but actually as a complementary convention to existing conventions.
