Japanese Pop Culture & Video Game Event Next Month in Orlando

ORLANDO'S FLORIDA ANIME EXPERIENCE POP CULTURE EVENT RETURNS FOR YEAR FIVE


The annual celebration of anime, cosplay, and Japanese culture returns April 24-26, 2015 to Central Florida.

(ORLANDO, FLORIDA, March 8, 2015) Started in 2011, Florida Anime Experience (www.Florida-Anime.com) is a three day pop culture event celebrating anime, manga, cosplay, fashion, and video games. The event boasts unique celebrity and industry guests plus hours of programming for fans of Japanese culture and entertainment. This is the convention's fifth year in Central Florida and it will take place April 24-26, 2015 at the Park Inn by Radisson Resort & Conference Center Orlando located at 3011 Maingate Lane, Kissimmee, FL 34747. Events begin at noon on Friday, April 24th and run through Sunday, April 26th at 6:00 PM.

Ticket prices are $20 for Friday or Sunday, $25 for Saturday, or $45 for all three days. Advanced tickets are discounted and are available online through March 31, 2015 at www.FloridaAnime.com/tickets. Children under 3 years old get in for free.

This year's convention boasts the event's largest collection of Guests and Featured Talent ever. Scheduled to appear: Brina Palencia (Ciel from Black Butler,) Spike Spencer (Shinji from Evangelion,) Tiffany Grant (Asuka from Evangelion,) Trina Nishimura (Mikasa from Attack on Titan,) the Anime 3000 Network, Anime Addicts Anonymous Podcast, Al Aki, Anime America Podcast, Anime World Order, Black Star Anime, Dahlia Thomas, Dream Fantasy Theatre, Envy Us Cosplay, Gundamn! Podcast, Nerd Bunny, Noise Complaint, Orange Anime, SSAA Podcast, and local rock band S.S. Hanami.

Entertainment at the convention includes an anime viewing room, manga library, Japanese video game room, fan and industry panels, Japanese culture panels, Maid Cafe Mikkusu, costume contests, dance parties, and much more.
