Kickstarter Campaign for 'The Essential Otaku Guide to Tokyo' Announces Live Streaming Event

TOKYO, Japan - July 16th, 2015 - The Essential Otaku Guide to Tokyo is a book project by Adrian Lozano, Ed Hoff and Kiyoko Kato collecting ideal travel destinations for any visitor to Tokyo who is interested in the otaku sides of the city. The authors will be hosting a live streaming event on YouTube to make announcements on the collaborating illustrator and share details on the book contents. The Kickstarter campaign is to raise funds for the initial step of creating a digital version of the publication.

Starting with Nakano, Ikebukuro and Akihabara the book will introduce the most popular locations, and places that are off the beaten track, compiling a comprehensive source of anything related to manga, anime, games, figures or cosplay in Tokyo.

The live streaming event will be held on the morning of Saturday, July 18th at 10 am Japan Time. (Fri 6pm PDT/Fri 9pm EDT/Sat 2am BST) Viewers will have a chance to interract with the authors, ask questions and share ideas of what they would like to see in the publication. Along with revealing news on the illustrator who is to participate in the project, special cosplay guests Goldy and Aire Saionji will take part in sharing their takes on the 3 focal areas in Tokyo and other otaku spots that they like to frequent around the city in which they call home.

Tune in to find out more about the project as it enters its final week and help make the book a reality! The YouTube live stream will be on The Essential Otaku Guide to Tokyo YouTube page here:
