Video Streaming Site 'DAISUKI.net' to Offer Premium DAISUKI Membership Service for North America

Tokyo-based Anime Consortium Japan Inc. will be offering a “Premium DAISUKI Membership” service through “DAISUKI.net” (www.Daisuki.net), its anime video streaming site for users outside of Japan. Starting in July 8, beta service will be available for the United States and Canada, with an official kick-off date planned for sometime this summer.

In addition to the standard free membership, the Premium Membership service will be available for a monthly fee of 5 USD. Premium Members get access to simultaneous streaming of new anime titles (distributed free of time delay from Japan), fewer advertisement “Less Ads”streaming (streaming with fewer commercials), streaming of past masterpiece anime titles, and other special, member-exclusive goodies.

■ Service Details

• Simultaneous streaming of new anime titles and fewer ads streaming
  Premium Members get access to titles much quicker than standard members through “simultaneous streaming,” which even includes subtitles. In addition, commercials are shown at a much lower rate with “Less Ads”
  
• Exclusive streaming of past masterpiece anime titles and special content
  In addition to the latest anime titles, paying members can access past titles that are very popular outside of Japan. Available titles include those popular with North American viewers such as MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM WING, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED, MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM SEED DESTINY, Yoshitaka Amano's Fantasy Anime: VEGETABLE FAIRES -N.Y. SALAD, and many more, to be added in sequential order for overseas anime fans.

Premium Membership service will start in the United States and Canada, where “DAISUKI.net” users are most prevalent, and then expand into other regions. Top-quality content through Premium DAISUKI Membership will continue to expand into the future.
