Raphtalia, the Heroine of The Rising of The Shield Hero, has Appeared in ISEKAI, an App that Allows Users to Chat with Anime Characters!

BOOK WALKER Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Ichirō Hashiba; hereinafter referred to as BOOK WALKER) released Raphtalia, the heroine of The Rising of the Shield Hero, on their conversation app ISEKAI on November 10, 2020. On November 10, 2020, Raphtalia, the heroine from The Rising of The Shield Hero, a popular series which has sold over 7.8 million copies and has a second season airing in 2021, was introduced as a new character on the smartphone app ISEKAI, an app which allows you to enjoy conversations with your favorite anime characters.

Not only can you chat with Raphtalia, but you can also have her call your name, use an alarm set with newly recorded lines, and dress her in an originally designed maid costume. You will be able to enjoy your time with her to your heartʼs content.

The app will also be holding a follow and retweet campaign through ISEKAIʼs official Twitter account that celebrates Raphtaliaʼs appearance and gives users a chance to win an autographed sign board from Raphtaliaʼs voice actress, Asami Seto. Please do not forget to apply for a chance to win.

What is ISEKAI?

ISEKAI is an app that allows users to meet characters from anime and manga in their own world through the app by utilizing rights with copyright holders and the latest speech synthesis technology*, etc. to realize fansʼ dreams of being able to spend time with their favorite characters. What is The Rising of The Shield Hero?

The Rising of The Shield Hero is an isekai fantasy based on a light novel series by Yusagi Aneko (published on the light novel site Shousetsuka ni Narou!). It was adapted by MF Books (KADOKAWA Publishing) and as of June 2019, the series has sold over 7.8 million volumes. The first season, broken into two halves, aired in 2019. The subbed and dubbed versions were simultaneously broadcasted, which is why it has gained support not only in Japan but worldwide. The second season will air in 2021 and it is so popular that a third season has already been announced.
