Nan Desu Kan 26, Colorado's Premier Anime Convention

Fans of Japanese Animation and Culture rejoice, it's Nan Desu Kan time once again! Taking place at the beautiful Gaylord Rockies Resort in Aurora, Colorado over Labor Day Weekend from September 1st to 3rd, NDK brings Art, Anime, Cosplay, Gaming, Shopping, Music, Guests, Charity, Community, and more to the Rocky Mountains.

What started as a small anime festival on metro campus in the Tivoli Student Union has grown into a wide and welcoming community that now fills the Gaylord Rockies with thousands of guests and hundreds of hours of events year after year. Come see fantastic costumes in our cosplay contest, talented crafting in our model show, and wonderful creations in our art Gallery. Watch anime and Japanese videos in our video rooms, then attend panels to discuss with other fans or hear from the voice actors themselves! With over 20,000 sq Ft of dedicated Arcade, Console, and Tabletop gaming there are plenty of ways to play, including our Japanese arcade cabinets and charity-supporting Pachinko Parlor. And all that is topped off with our expansive Exhibitors Hall full of artists and vendors! This year, get the ball rolling early, with a pre-convention event: The NDK Night Market and Charity Costume Ball on August 31st!

All of this helps bring the community together and helps a good cause. NDK and the RMAA (the non-profit organization that produces NDK) raise funds for charitable organizations thru events like our grand NDK Charity Auction. NDK is continuing in 2023's collaboration with the Maria Droste Counseling Center. The Denver-based Maria Droste Counseling Center promotes mental health across Colorado and offers in-person or online counseling services and psychotherapy for adults, children, teens, couples, and families – regardless of their ability to pay.
